The Division I Soil &
Water Conservation Districts work in partnership with
individuals, landowners, businesses and government to
protect water resources, expand options for agricultural
production, promote sustainable forestry practices,
promote energy conservation, and protect wildlife
habitat throughout the urban and rural areas of the
northern Idaho region.

The Division I Tree Sale Program is underway!
Each year, several thousand seedlings are
planted in northern Idaho through this program.
The intention of the tree sales program is to
promote conservation and the reforestation of
critical areas within northern Idaho.

The Stormwater and Erosion Education Program
(SEEP) is an instructive course developed
specifically for the Panhandle. This
course will benefit workers in all fields of
construction, excavation, design, development,
county public works and planning, as well as
